i’m not sure how i ever got so lucky. lucky enough to live in a part of the country with this much beauty. lucky enough to be able to make a living doing what i love. lucky enough to get to work with people like emily & aaron, who let me adventure with them to the base of gigantic waterfalls. they’re my kind of people – the laid back kind who hike with a tulle skirt and suit jacket to the side of a mountain and then throw it all on and say “hey, let’s do this.” on a casual wednesday we trekked out to franklin falls and made these beauties happen. it was the kind of shoot that had me pinching myself over and over again. it was exactly the kind of shoot i’d like to do way more of. this session was 1 part moody, 1 part drizzly, 3 parts badass, and all parts “yes please.” my kind of shoot, my kind of setting, my kind of people. i guess you could say i was absolutely in my happy place that day.
thanks for bringing your a-game, emily & aaron. thanks for the snacks in the car ride out. thanks for your energy and for showing off your adorable love in front of the camera. all of the effort that day couldn’t have been more worth it.
