It was actually my younger brother who loaned me the few hundred dollars to buy my first camera off of Craigslist the summer after I graduated from college. Back then, I was just a broke twenty-something with an entrepreneurial hunger and an ache to create.

Since then (I can't believe it's been 15 years), I’d say my career as a photographer has flourished because this is 100% WHAT I WAS PUT ON THIS EARTH TO DO.
I am my best self when I am creating, making, and gathering from life as it happens.
about my work
As an artist, photography is the medium that allows me to soak up, transpose, and contribute back to all of it. This life and career have allowed me to document radiant weddings, authentic lifestyles and compelling brands from Alaska to Vietnam, Hawaii to Iceland, and plenty of extraordinary places in between.
The responsibilities of being a worldwide visual storyteller continuously light me up, and it truly knocks my socks off that I get to do what I do every day.
