and things.
My name is Jordan, middle name Quinn. My friends, family, and clients call me "Jo." I’d say my career as a photographer happened by accident all the way back in 2009 but has flourished since then because this is 100% what I was put on this earth to do. I am my best self when I am creating, making, and gathering from life as it happens. As an artist, photography is the medium that allows me to soak up, transpose, and contribute back to all of it. This life and career have allowed me to document radiant weddings, authentic lifestyles and compelling brands from Alaska to Mexico, Hawaii to Iceland, and plenty of extraordinary places in between. The responsibilities of being a worldwide visual storyteller continuously light me up, and it truly knocks my socks off that I get to do what I do every day.

More fun facts about me: I met my other half, Billy, in our college a cappella group, “pitch perfect style.” It’s a love story for the ages, people. Together we have lived in every time zone across the country (except Hawaii) and now currently reside in Denver, Colorado (yes, the mountains called and we answered) with our goldendoodle pup, Crosby. Tuesday nights are kind of our thing - you’ll usually find us being a couple of overly excitable foodies somewhere as I order him an old fashioned and he orders me a paloma.
I love jamming out to Fleetwood Mac, hoarding cookbooks, and browsing (most-likely buying) my way through the women’s shoe department at Nordstrom. I despise truffle-flavored ANYthing, roosters, and the tick-tock of a clock. I firmly believe that life is much too short to fold fitted sheets and that groceries should always be brought in from the car in one trip. I feel invincible in my very well-worn black leather jacket, but equally untouchable in a smoke-infused hoodie that resulted from being around a bonfire with my people the night before. And there’s always time for brunching in my book -- major bonus points if the brunch place includes two nouns in the name of the joint that have nothing to do with each other (i.e. Walrus and The Carpenter, Lilies and Woodchips, Spruces and Stilettos, etc.)

BILLY
We were best friends first in college & somewhere along the way, we fell in love. Now he puts up with (& sometimes join in) my general shenanigans. He is all my wildest dreams come true, x2.
WEston
My beautiful boy made me a mama three months earlier than planned. He’s our micro-preemie miracle that we waited so long for. Being a boy-mom is the greatest role I’ll ever have in this grand ol’ life.
Crosby
He’s our fuzzball goldendoodle and I’m convinced we won the puppy lottery with him. We rescued him when he was just a wee one and he lives an extremely spoiled life in the Smith house.

FOOD NETWORK
I'm all about the Food Network on in the background as I work at home. Something about watching the Barefoot Contessa boil water just does it for me.
BOOTS
Boots. Booties. I don’t discriminate. I love them all, and it's possible I have an unreasonable number of pairs.
PLANTS
I’m a self-proclaimed plant lady. And even though I can’t really keep indoor plants alive, they bring me joy, and therefore, I shall never stop trying.
