this past year, i started offering albums in my wedding collections. it was time. as a little girl, i remember flipping through my parents’ fine art album from their day. it was delightfully heavy, filled with thick pages of every memory. it told a story beginning to end. it has lasted impeccably well for over 30 years and remains on their coffee table as a statement piece, inviting others to look through it. in essence, it stands on its own…off of instagram, off of a DVD, off the computer. albums invite my couples to relive their day tangibly. something to have and to hold :) and as you can tell, i’m a huge believer in investing in one. billy and i will be making an album. no doubt. there’s no way we will let all of those photos live on the computer alone. there are just certain things in life that call for preservation and the extra investment.
as a photographer, i searched high and low for an album company i could feel proud to work with. i knew i wanted my albums to be a substantial item. i knew i wanted to offer leather bound, lay flat, archival quality albums.
when i found madera books, i fell in love immediately. their album designs are modern but timeless, clean, simple, fresh, and high quality. i loved the colors of the leather and the customizations i could offer to my clients. beyond that, i was so thoroughly impressed with their customer service. i never turned back after that.
i’m proud to offer my fabulous couples albums that complement their photos. i’m proud to offer my clients a product well worth the investment. and one that they’ll sit with for decades to come.
to all my new clients, ask me about albums and all the ways to customize your own. if you’re on the fence, here’s a peek!
