she set up an online profile on a whim. her and a girlfriend decided to do it for a month just for fun. lauren had a bunch of horrible dates and told her mom, “there’s no way i’m going on the date i have tonight. i’m over it.” mom said, “just try it. one last one.” and thank goodness for mom. because that was the night lauren met jay. she came home from her date with a huge smile that night.
i’m so lucky to have couples like these. people who’ve followed my photos for months and i didn’t even know it. lauren’s “big sister” in her sorority was one of my 2012 brides and when the two got engaged, i was one of their first vendors to get after. their initial date booked up so they asked about another date. changing their date so i can shoot it? unreal. and i’m so thankful.

here’s these two and their phenomenal fall engagement session. can’t wait to work with you two next fall!
