i feel like it’s been quiet on the blog for a bit. i guess that’s what happens when you travel! it’s certainly not because i have any less to show. in fact, i’m backed up for a while. stay tuned for all the beautiful couples, babies, and portraits to come soon! today, i’ve got a marvelous maternity session to share. so excited to get this one up!
stephanie and andrew knew they were visiting their favorite city well in advance of this session. they contacted me way back when to ask if they could schedule a maternity shoot during their time here. it gives me butterflies when out-of-towners find me through google, we email forever, and then finally get to meet face to face the day of our session. it’s even better when the couple is as darling as stephanie and andrew. the couple visited all the way from west virginia and knew they needed some chicago-ness involved in their tummy shots. why? simply because they love this city. and it means something to their story as a couple and now as newly expecting parents. the two are originally from kentucky and their southern charm & accents had me at hello. we had the most glorious spring morning the friday before st. patty’s day. not too hot. not too cold. and we were thrilled to see a city in bloom as we traipsed around getting the shots we wanted.
