finally home from a mini getaway to my home state of new hampshire. i still stand by the fact that it was the best place to have grow up. this time i came home as an adult, with a fresh pair of eyes and a decade’s worth of cravings for fresh seafood. i absolutely took it for granted when i lived there. we drove down the miles of beach on the seacoast and i made my best friend stop a thousand times so i could snap away. so much was different. but then again, nothing had changed.
what a great weekend with unexpected reunions, lobster rolls, at least three bowls of clam chowder, and celebrating my best friend before she gets married in maine this june.
