they found my work and asked if i’d be up for shooting their engagement session. we met at golden gardens in seattle and it was love at first photo. the fun simply couldn’t end there. they hesitated in asking if i would fly to hawaii to photograph their wedding because they weren’t sure i’d travel that far. me? i thought they’d never ask. i just knew it was going to be the most gorgeous celebration. i’ve said it before and i’ll say it again – intimate weddings get me every time. i love photographing small weddings like these every now and then. they are always peaceful, breezy, and refreshing affairs. nina & andrew’s wedding at the four seasons in kona, hawaii was no different.
my couples are, of course, always extremely happy on their wedding days. but these two, they were beaming. they made my job far too easy. every time i turned around they were lost in happiness together, inviting everyone into their joy.
their day was it was the biggest treat for me to travel to and photograph. it was the dreamiest of days. i mean, look at it. congratulations, you two!
