i was on vacation for the week in ocean isle, north carolina when i got christine’s email. her and brandon had just gotten engaged. they wanted engagement photos the next week after i got back and their wedding is in october. bing, bang, boom. this fall is my busiest time for weddings but i miraculously had their date available and i couldn’t be happier that i did. i met the two for the first time when they strolled up to the beach. they were stupidly happy together, swinging hands & huge smiles and i knew it was them right away.
we just played. it was one of those sessions where the best parts of being in love shone through. simple, giddy, lost in each other, joking together – naturally and effortlessly. it’s the kind of session i want to shoot all the time. these are the types of clients that click with what i want to bring out in my photography style. i am unbelievably blessed to have ambassadors around the city (and country) who have “jq photo” ready on their lips when someone’s looking for a photographer. even when you’re at memorial day bbq’s and you’re eating a burger and someone’s chatting about how they just got engaged. out spews jq photo and now i’ve got another love story to tell. thank you for spreading my brand and trusting in it, y’all. it means the world. it’s stories like christine & brandon’s that i love to tell. ecstatic that i have them on board and chomping at the bit to shoot their inevitably unforgettable day this fall.
