i’ve been a tad MIA on this here bloggity. i’ve got tons of images to share but really, it’s because i’ve been a bit overwhelmed on tons of fresh new starts for 2013. for months now, i’ve been gearing up to launch a new brand for my business. i was aiming to hit the ground running with an updated new look that i feel really reflects me and what i’ve grown my business to be. it’s in the works and soon to be launched.
however, as most of you know, i am also relocating my business out to the pacific northwest. i am so so excited for a new adventure to a place that i’ve always dreamed of living. but i am scared and sad to leave my chicago beginnings behind. i know that this move has such awesome potential to expand my business and what’s in store for me is new inspirations, new projects, new explorations and excitement.

what will be essential for me over the next few months is my ability to trust. i’ll need to trust in the plan laid out for me. it’s so clear that this is my next step and i haven’t felt this sure about something since my decision to attend the college i went to. so if that’s all true, then i really have no choice but to get behind it, take each day at a time, and grab the bull by both horns.

when i was a little girl, i ripped out a photo of a seattle scene and put it in my journal. i’ve always wanted to live out there. my plan for after college was to move out there and instead, i stayed in chicago for a bit. i’ve loved my midwest life in my 20s. it’s led me to some fantastic opportunities in my young professional life. and if i let it, seattle will do the same.

this next month will be a lot of prep. a lot of selling what i have. a lot of packing. a lot of driving. and let me tell ya, i’ll be stopping so many times along the way to seattle for photo ops (it’s also been a dream of mine to drive cross country). badlands, here i come.

thank you for your support. and if you have any connections and new opportunities for me to explore in seattle, shout em out! has anyone lived or currently lives out there that can share some insider tips of where to eat, get the best cup of coffee, perhaps someone with a boat that i can befriend instantly? let me know!

cheers to the upcoming year. it may just be my best one yet.
