it was a glorious fall day in geneva, illinois at the herrington inn. i had been waiting to photograph lauren and jay’s day for a long time. ever since they changed their wedding date just to have me there. talk about dream clients.
i walked into the suite where lauren and her girls were getting ready. i was so happy to take care of lauren and jay that day, especially after lauren greeted me with her smile. she had surrounded the day with timeless details, breathtaking florals, a cozy venue and a party to boot.
what stuck out about their day was the family love. i was tearing up all day when lauren’s mom gave her that bracelet. when lauren’s dad kissed her on her forehead. when jay spoke to his parents in his speech. the day was full of embraces and deep love. can’t wait to see what lauren and jay will make of their life together, with such strong relationships to support them and uplift them.
congrats, you two. so lucky to have been there right alongside.
