this was one of those weddings that i cried at least a handful of times. it was one of those weddings where i personally thanked the parents of the bride and groom for allowing me to come and be a part of it all. over and over again i thanked them. i remember standing in awe a few times during the day, speechless by my surroundings, by the relationships i was capturing, by the love shared.

and then at the end of the day i texted my fiance, billy, and told him it was one of my very favorite weddings. because it was. from the tears between sisters and mom at the beginning of the day to the new whiskey and cigar tradition shared between all the men late at night.

it was an extraordinary day. taking place mostly in a garden nestled in the heart of a city. magical, wondrous, relaxed and elegant. i’m beyond excited to share all of it here.
