my ideal clients are the ones that invite me into their wedding day as a friend, practically as family, to share in their entire celebration with them. i’m alongside them for the entire day, snapping away- but i’m also raising my glass to toast them, helping my bride as she bustles her dress, sitting with friends of the bride and groom at dinner, and getting jiggy with it on the dance floor. weddings with couples like that allow me to do my best work. i’m catching the moments that matter most to me as a photographer- those in between moments- on top of all of the important ones.
bethany and i didn’t even meet face to face for several months after she booked me. a friend recommended me to her, and she booked over a few emails. she told me later that she “just knew.” i’ll always be grateful to her for just knowing. her confidence in my craft gave me even more confidence in capturing their perfect day. staying on-site with the bridal party, the families- it’s my absolute favorite situation. shooting a wedding in palm springs, california in february wasn’t too shabby either. i already miss it.
thank you to you both for inviting me in, for trusting me, and for including me in such a remarkable wedding day. mazel tov!
