the glow of a mama in waiting is one of the most beautiful things to see in life. there’s a peace that comes with waiting. a woman, and couple, that is expecting is visibly centered and united over this bringing of new life into the world. and you can imagine it’s quite the joy to photograph.
i love working with expecting couples, especially expecting mamas. and especially when they’re waiting for their first. there’s so much anticipation and eagerness behind the smiles during our session together. so much tenderness and vulnerability behind the quiet moments between a woman and the new one she’s come to love so much.
the three of us had a great session together one morning a few weeks back. katheren makes such a gorgeous mama-to-be. can’t wait for the little one to arrive any day!
