being a photographer teaches me so much about relationships. so much. more than i ever expected. relationships are as much a part of my profession as anything else. i’ve been invited into so many relationships, right into the core of what makes two people work. your crazy love for each other teaches me. and it’s encouraging.
amy & josh are a jigsaw puzzle couple. they fit perfectly. amy grew up all the way over in australia (yes her accent is to die for). she came stateside for school, met josh, fell in love, then brought him home to mom and pop. now as they’re engaged, she’s over in spokane, washington. i love how they just own the distance. totally crazy about each other across a country. soon to be wed and together forever with no more distance.
a few weeks ago, josh emailed me and asked if i wouldn’t mind shooting an engagement session of the two of them while amy was here in chicago on her spring break. they hadn’t seen each other in a while so the two smitten kittens were dynamite in front of the camera, being effortlessly adorable. i’m sure they forgot about me at times. and i love what we got.
Very cute! Love the b& w’s especially. Love,MOM
